History

PH FIT Ribbons and Textile Innovations, also known as PROGRESSO HUDTELFA, is a traditional ribbon industry in the Brazilian market and around the world; a result of the merger of two of the leading manufactures of textile ribbons in Brazil in 1998 between PROGRESSO Ribbons (founded in 1949) and the Ribbon Division of HUDTELFA Weaving Company (founded in 1933). The company is now the leading manufactures of rigid ribbons in Brazil.

The company employs a staff of over 500 employees; innovative and highly qualified professionals who are specialized in technical development and design to produce the finest ribbons, by applying the latest technology to launch highly competitive and differentiated collections throughout the year.

The range of products consists of tapes textiles, gallons buttons, formalities, fancy dress strings, cloths in jacquard, ribbons, intelligent boxes and many complementary products used in handicraft, costume-made clothing & accessories patchwork, patchwork accessories, floral arrangements, adornment & ornamentation, in addition to a wide array of other applications.

The professional organization has enabled PH FIT to create business units in order to support each, sector in a specific and personalized way counting on independent staffs & procedures adapted to each market & customer.
